This 1734-OB8SK is a safety input/output module that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This module belongs to the Point Guard I/O 1734 series from Allen-Bradley. This safety module is designed and developed to distribute safety input/output in a safety control network, and it meets the requirements of SIL CL3 and PLe Category 4 standards. This 1734-OB8SK safety module is suited with standard GuardLogix controllers, compact GuardLogix controllers, and SmartGuard controllers. In addition to this, the module also supports both the DeviceNet and Ethernet networks. This 1734-OB8SK safety output module is available with eight outputs that belong to the safety sourcing types of outputs. This Allen-Bradley safety output module can be operated in both dual-channel mode and single-channel mode. The dual-channel mode will support redundant control with two channels, output signals, and the single-channel mode will support control with one channel or output signal. Apart from this, outputs in this safety output module can be pulse tested to detect short circuits. This safety module can also support a separate field bus power supply. This safety module is conformally coated and compatible with an eight-point termination base.
