The 1763-NC01 is a connector cable (8-Pin Mini-DIN to 6-Pin Phoenix). This cable is used to interconnect MicroLogix 1100 controllers. Additionally, it has been classified for class one, two hazardous locations, and applications. In addition, it is also used for connecting the networking modules, adapters, and drives belonging to a wide range of product lines. The length of this connector cable is 30 cm (11.8 in.). As far as its configuration to the controllers and peripheral network devices are concerned, the users can utilize this cable A or later that comes with the 8 pins and is a type of mini-DIN to 6 pins DH485 connection cable or similar. On the contrary, the controllers support a network port for establishing the connection for sharing and storing the data. Additionally, these controllers that are compatible with this cable can store up to 8 KB of data (4 kilobytes user application, 4 kilobytes data). Furthermore, controllers also allow online editing and enable users to access, monitor, and program with the help of a communication channel and a port.
