The Horner Electric HE693ADC415 is an isolated analog current input module with 14-bit resolution. The module has four (4) analog input channels with channel-to-channel and channel-to-ground isolation. The supply voltage of the module is 700 volts AC. The channels have an input current range of 4 to 20 mA (+/-20 mA). The module has a channel-to-channel voltage of 500 volts AC rms and an isolation rating of 700 volts DC. The module converts input current signals to digital signals sent to the PLC CPU. Each channel has a programmable setpoint, which can be set using the PLC program using four (4) %AQ output registers. This module operates by energizing a digital input %I when an analog input is at or above the setpoint. The input setpoint alarms for each channel are represented by the first four %Is.

The HE693ADC415 module has a rated steady-state power consumption of 0.4 watts, 80 milliamperes at 5 volts or 2.16 watts, 90 milliamperes at 24 volts. Its surge current at powering is 120 milliamperes at 5 volts and 150 milliamperes at 24 volts. Its I/O specifications are 4 % AI, 4 % AQ, 16 % I with a useable resolution of 13 bits (+), and a module update rate of 45 channels per second. The module is equipped with Digital Filtering with 1 to 128 samples per update and Analog Filtering of 1 kilohertz, as well as a 3-pole Bessel with a maximum full-scale error of 0.05 percent. It has an input impedance of 100 ohms. The module is designed to operate in a relative humidity range of 5 to 95%, non-condensing, with a temperature range of 0 to 60 °C (32 to 140 °F).
