This module has a functionality of 0.5 °C resolution, while making a PLC I/O 8% AI table, where the temperature values are reported in 0.5 °F or 0.5 °C increments. A twisted pair and shielded extension wiring system is efficient as it provides the best noise immunity. This extension wiring of the thermocouple input module should be placed within its conduit.
